English Grammar and Composition I # The Alphabet

THE ALPHABET

In the English language there are twenty-six letters or alphabet (letters of a written language).

These alphabet are divided into two groups.

     a)      VOWELS:

These are A,E,I,O,U

     b)      CONSONANTS:

The letters other than the vowels are called consonants.
B-C-D-F-G-H-J-K-L-M-N-P-Q-R-S-T-V-W-X-Y-Z
